Citigroup Services Ltd is the Global Processing Center for Citi entities. It is driven by domain expertise in banks, insurance, IT, automobiles, pharmaceuticals, media, airlines, financial services & many more.Having a "common core" of information reduces discrepancies in maintaining their policies, rules etc...
Easy access of the information is obtained to its employees at once if these are intact in web.There is a need to gather information available in variety of sources , thus a web-based information system actually solves the purpose of the company.



Q2.Why is it important for employees to be able to customize some of that information?

Citigroup being the largest financial services group in the world, should satisfy the needs of its vast client sector appropriately.Needs of different geographical regions are obviously different as per their respective norms.
Customizing information reduces IT cost & improvises productivity.Thus citigroup employees should customize atleast some amount of information so that it becomes profitable for its business.
